St. Paul’s transplant recipient raises funds and awareness of Polycystic Kidney Disease
Kidney transplant recipient Trudy Burdess helped raise awareness (and funds to support kidney research and care at St. Paul’s) for Polycystic Kidney Disease Awareness Day (September 9-10) by participating in the Klondike Road Relay in the Yukon.
Heart Rhythm Scholars
Thanks to a gift from Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, St. Paul’s welcomed two new Distinguished Scholars. Both of the positions were established in honour of the pioneering work of Dr. Charles Kerr in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.
A record legacy gift
St. Paul’s received the largest legacy gift in its history in 2015 when the estates of Robert and Margaret (Maggie) Carpenter made a gift to support the Pain Clinic at St. Paul’s.
