In Memory of Dorothy Lee Too

Dorothy Lee Too (nee Kwok, Chee Fun), of Vancouver, peacefully passed on March 21, 2019, with her family by her side.

Dorothy was born on December 12, 1927 in Chung San, China. She married Henry Lee Too in China, and they lived together in Trinidad for 26 years before relocating to Vancouver in 1971. Dorothy is survived by her three children: Marcel of Calgary, Helen of North Vancouver and Augustus of Richmond. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband in 1973 and her son Quan Lee in 2006.

Dorothy was an accomplished cook and passed her appreciation for food and cooking to all her children and grandchildren. Dorothy was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind many beautiful memories. She lived her life to the fullest, living independently for most of her life while enjoying her last year in the Höfn Icelandic Harbour Assisted Living facility where she made many friends.

At the request of Dorothy she wanted donations to go Mount Saint Joseph Hospital as she really appreciated the care and support they provided when she became ill.
